Michael J Leeper, RTRP

I initially grew up in Philadelphia, the Frankford area, and my family moved to Wildwood, New Jersey in 1962. I went to Margaret Mace, and Wildwood High. In 1967 I went in the United States Marine Corps and retired in 1988 as a Master Sergeant.

I held various management positions for about 4 years after that, and eventually landed a Civil Service position with the Marine Corps as an Instructor at Monford Point, Camp Lejeune North Carolina. The school moved to Fort Lee, Virginia and I moved up the ladder to Deputy Director of the School. I retired from that position in February 2011.

Throughout my career, I’ve always been the “bean counter” type and hence my interest in taxes. Prior to retiring I wanted to have something that interested me and not just work all year round. So in 1999 I started my tax career, first working for H&R Block for 2 seasons and then deciding I wanted my own business and started Mike Leeper’s tax Service.

Having moved around, my wife Carol, and I wanted to move back home. So we packed up everything and, moved back to Wildwood, New Jersey in January 2014. Carol is a “Dr. Margaret Mace baby,” if you know what that is.

We’re happy to be back home in “Wildwood by the Sea”, working, vacationing, and being around family and friends.

Anna Shelton, Del Haven Office

Anna is the manager of the Del Haven office, and a member of National Association of Tax Professionals, (NATP) she has extensive management and tax experience. Anna has been managing the Del Haven office for the past five years, concentrating on Wildwood, Cape May, and Del Haven areas.

She is expanding her client service throughout the United States. Anna prepares 1040EZ returns up to and including partnerships and corporations.

Anna grew up in Wildwood and graduated from Wildwood High. She is married to Darrell Shelton and has two children, Darrell Jr. and Jordan.
